On this bittersweet Mother's Day, my heart is filled with a mix of emotions as I think of my own journey and of those around me.

Today, I am sending love to:
- My own mom
- Moms with living children
- Moms carrying their child/children in their hearts
- Those who are missing their moms
- Those who yearn to be moms
- Single mothers
- Those who have complicated relationships with their moms
- Mother figures, in all forms
- Expecting moms
- Mothers currently suffering from illness
- Those who have made a conscious choice of not becoming a mom

Let’s connect with our hearts. Let’s connect with that first feeling.

When feeling a little lost for something that happened in the past but that meant the world to us:

- Our thoughts will start spiraling
- Our mind will bring repetitive negative thoughts
- We will feel heavy emotions
- We will suppress some other feelings that are still there

Yep, it sucks but it is inevitable.

To control this, the best thing we can do is to (re) connect with our heart.

Take a deep breath and re-connect with reality.

Our hearts remember how it felt.

Our hearts truly knows how it feels.

The mind can forget those details and get you even more confused.

Love the candid conversations Jonah Hill has with his therapist/psychiatrist Phil Stutz, the way they navigate vulnerability and share insights + valuable tools; all combined with personal art, makes it really unique.

Lots of takeaways and tools we can all use in our day to day life.

**spoiler alert**

Here are the parts that I enjoyed the most:

-The conversation with his mom, and the realisation she had right at that moment.
-The way Jonah honoured his relationship with Stutz and the appreciation for all the work they have done together
-When Jonah dares to look at the picture Stutz took the day he found out his brother died. Loved Stutz’ observation “that’s the picture of someone who’s gone through hell, come out the other side, and is really OK.”

Daring to dream again, how do you do that after ex

Daring to dream again, how do you do that after experiencing a big loss?

I wish there was a clear and linear explanation to this question, unfortunately there isn’t one.

Life after loss feels like driving in the fog, it is dark, scary and it gives us the impression that we are facing the unknown.

However, our capacity to decide to continue driving remains, and how that happens is up to us.

Mostly, what works is knowing that there’s always a road ahead and trusting that the road will be slightly visible at a certain point and that it will take us to where we want to be.

Using our internal intuition and compass is the best way to connect with our true feelings and will help us dare to dream again.

With a little help, we can all find that internal intuition and compass that will allow us to dare to dream again, even if it’s with our eyes and fingers crossed (!)

I hope this post gets to the hearts that need it the most.

We all deserve to dare to dream again after loss ❤️🙏🌈✨
