I am proud to be part of this article in the Dutch magazine Vriendin.
I couldn’t say no when Greet Vonk asked me to share my story. I really hope our messages and life stories inspire others to realize that traumatic events can make us more vulnerable but also allow us to refocus, see things from a different perspective and become stronger.
Every single step we take counts. Post Traumatic Growth is real and can be achieved.

I wrote an article about PostTraumatic Growth (PTG) for NEL Magazine.

I believe it is important to bring attention to PTG. Why do we pay so much attention to the negative side of our traumatic experience(s) when there is also a positive side that can be explored?

If I can inspire a person with my story, if I can ease someone’s pain just by knowing that growth can occur after baby loss, if my tips are valuable to someone, then I will be satisfied because I’ve accomplished my mission with this article.

I wrote the article “10 Life Lessons After Loss And Birth. A Personal Story With Valuable Tips” for the online magazine Anders Dan Verwacht.

Sharing our experiences and life lessons is not only valuable for people who experience something similar, it also helps us integrate loss into our lives. Our pain and experience are thus recognized and seen, our voice is heard and that in general can be liberating and cathartic.
